Online Grief Share Group

This ministry is here to support families who have lost a loved one. Our monthly online grief support groups meet bi-weekly via zoom. We welcome anyone from anywhere to join us. Our first week of each month is a support group and our second meeting of each month is a grief study group. We share our stories about our loved ones that are no longer with us, we discover ways to honor their lives and legacy. We learn about the process of grieving and how to surrender our grief over to ‘the care of God.’ Led by our founder, Libbie, we will walk together through our grief and find hope again. “You can overcome any hardship… Losing my child was the worst one for me. I believe that no one should grieve alone. Come join me and lets walk together on our journey of grief.” - Libbie Windley.

Finding Comfort Together: An Online Grief Support Community

Join Us in Creating a Safe and Supportive Space for Those Grieving

Losing a loved one can be a challenging and isolating experience, but it doesn't have to be faced alone. This online community provides a safe and supportive space where people can connect with others who are also dealing with loss and share their experiences, emotions, and feelings.

Join Our Community

A Safe and Supportive Space

The community will be moderated by individuals who have struggled just as you might be to ensure a respectful and supportive environment. Members will be able to participate in online discussions, join virtual support groups, and connect with others through private messaging. The goal is to create a supportive community where individuals can find comfort, hope, and healing in their grief journey.

Empowering Members with Grief Resources and Tools

In addition to connecting with others, members will also have access to a range of resources and tools offered at no cost and designed to help them cope with loss and navigate their grief journey. These may include articles, videos, and other resources on topics such as grief, coping, self-care, and more.

These resources are designed to help members gain a better understanding of grief and the grieving process. They can also provide practical tips and techniques for coping with loss, managing emotions, and taking care of oneself during this difficult time. In addition, members will have access to resources on self-care, including advice on exercise, nutrition, and other activities that can help promote physical and emotional well-being.

“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not “get over” the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”

Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, Swiss-American Psychiatrist and Author

Joining a grief recovery group can provide numerous benefits for individuals who are coping with loss.

It’s an opportunity to connect with others who are also grieving. This sense of community can help individuals feel less isolated and provide a safe space for them to express their feelings and emotions. The group setting also allows individuals to learn from one another and gain new perspectives on the grieving process. It’s a group that can provide a sense of hope and renewal, as members come to understand they are not alone in their journey. Ultimately, participating in our grief community recovery group can be an important step in the healing process, helping individuals find ways to move forward and live fulfilling lives again.
